The contact owns a 2014 Mercedes-Benz Glk350. The contact stated that a warning light indicated a danger of the vehicle rolling over. The contact applied the accelerator pedal while in reverse, but it did not respond and the warning light flashed. Suddenly, the vehicle reversed and crashed into the garage and a pole. The vehicle was stuck sideways. A flatbed tow truck was used to move the vehicle and the insurance company repaired the body damage. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for further inspection. The approximate failure mileage was 12,000.
