The contact owns a 2014 Mercedes-Benz glk350W2. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic to have the wheels serviced. The contact was informed that the lug nuts were defective and a special wrench was needed to break off the lug nuts. The contact spoke with Mercedes-Benz of arcadia (101 N santa anita ave, arcadia, ca 91006, 626-701-8904) and was informed that the lug nuts were not defective. The dealer offered the contact to purchase a special wrench and bolts. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure mileage was 20,000.
