I'll NEVER buy another Mercedes. This EIS thing is a significant and repetitive problem with Mercedes. They refuse to do anything about it, although the number of times this thing has been replaced clearly indicate the EIS was defective from the GET GO.
You know my Dad served in the 1st Div. during WWII. He was a Mechanic. one of the Jobs he had was to test the captured German Tanks. He always told me don't ever buy a German vehicle. They are all over engineered resulting in an excessive number of repair issues. Boy was he ever right! I will never buy another German vehicle again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
