Takata recall. I have been sent a number of notices that my vehicle is part of the takata recall but that there are no parts available. Frankly I've been very patient but I am concerned for my safety knowing this dragging on for 2 years now. I drive almost 100 miles per day on major highways. I am aware that other manufacturers, of less stature mind you, are offering at no cost a substitute or loaner/rental vehicle until the parts are made available. I'm no longer willing to wait for this endless time frame for my vehicle to be repaired with the proper, safe, and updated safety item like an air bag. We're not talking about some sensor or a power window switch here. I don't feel safe driving this vehicle any longer.

Takata recall there is still no remedy after at least 2 years. The letters received from Mercedes clearly state that the airbag can cause injury or death, yet we are told to patiently wait for them to call when they have a solution. This is unacceptable and needs to be a priority by either mb or another supplier of airbags!!!
