Takata recall. There has been no action taken by Mercedes Benz to replace my air bag inflater. They say they will let me know when a replacement comes it. It has been over 2 years.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2011 Mercedes-Benz ML350. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V081000 (air bags). The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called Mercedes-Benz of North orlando (1100 rinehart rd, sanford, fl 32771 (407) 710-5111) where it was confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Parts distribution disconnect.

I was in a car accident in March 2016 and it was a front end collision. I almost went through the windshield however my seat belt didn't stop me or lock in place at all.
