: the contact stated the harness straps were too tight and the release mechanism was jammed, and would not allow slack to the straps. The manufacturer was notified, but was unable to provide a solution over the phone, but a replacement seat was offered. The manufacturer was evenflow. Make: Evenflo. Model # 3891609P1. Build date: 8/24/2005. Updated 01/10/06.
