Due to heavy rain, parking lot drainage backed up. Water level had to be 8" to 10" a vehicle (Toyota corolla) in front of me proceeded to go through. So as I went through the water and few feet further my Van stalled. Had Van towed to Mercedes of Tampa and after they inspected, they claimed I need new Engine. Heard many Mercedes vehicles also having same issue. Is a car that cost this much and have a prestige name have a defective in design? Even if I get repair (which will be covered by my auto insurance) I would be afraid to drive this van in any rain, that will be hard in Florida.
