This is problem #3 of the same car that I reported the AC blower motor and the two leaking hydraulic cylinders. All 3 problems happened less than a year after I bought it. I personally think I was ripped off by the mechanic that did this repair. It was a friend of my 54 year old stepson.

I did not get an itemized bill for what was replaced or what it cost. There was a long time before he could get the parts needed from the MB dealer. From what I learned on the internet, this has been a problem with a lot of this model and year and the dealers should have had the parts in stock. All I was given was a lot of scare tactics that made me grateful that I would finally get my car back. I have not had the hydraulic cylinders fixed yet.
