inside rear view mirror started to form bubbles, then 'fogged' permanently. These distortions and fogging prevent seeing vehicles and objects clearly in the mirror. There are reports on internet that there are replacement; however, I have been unable to get a replacement after repeated attempts. Mercedes seems to disavow any responsibility for this essential safety device mandated on the vehicle.
