Tranmission/torque converter has a shudder when shifting at about 50 mph, I have done some research regarding this and have found 19 tsb's regarding the transmission/torque converter from Jan. 1995 to July of 2003. This is on my 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis. I have contacted Ford/Mercury and have been told the cost of diagnosis and repair is my responsibility. It would seem to me with so many tsb's on this problem there is a mfg. Defect involved, and should be fixed by the mfg.

Consumer experiencing ongoing problem with transmission. At times comes to a complete stop. Vehicle would esitate before it takes off. Took vehicle to dealer for repairs. Dealer replaced torque converter and reprogrammed PCM.
