Consumer 2000 Grand Marquis brakes re-lined and rear rotors were replaced at 17000 miles.

Air control valve failure. This item not covered by my 90,000 mile warranty. Why not" shop said an item that controls braking jammed causing the brakes in the front brakes not to retract after releasing pedal therefore destroying calipers pads & rotors. This item not covered by extended warranty either. Why not"

When the vehicle is started, an unusual noise occurs in engine, especially in the morning, then gradually gets louder/more frequent. One day in particular, the vehicle was parked(hot weather), and when the vehicle was started, the noise started again, and was extremely loud/distracting to others. The dealer cannot duplicate, stating that all the models sound this way and is the timing chain. Other problems are as followed: Radio static/window static-when the ignition is on(may be a loose wire, and when the brakes are applied, it engages the brake light switch. The consumer requests that the problem(s) are fixed before the warranty expires. Scc
