Grand Marquis GS 4.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 78,000 miles

The car develops a rumbling vibration when the auto tranny shifts gears and usually when the car attains a cruising speed. I disengaged the over drive but results are the same. It also happens when I use cruising control; and always when the speed and acceleration are at cruising mode. Feedback welcome.
