The contact owns a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis. Whenever the contact would attempt to slow down the vehicle, he noticed that it would suddenly shut off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The current and failure mileages were 23,000. Updated 09/04/09.
