Same as Ford Escape problem reported. On highway, engine dies, displays "Stop Safely Now" and red triangle of death. Problem was a bad Motor Electronics Cooling Pump. Had it replace. Replacement failed 13,000 mi and 10 months later. Found a tech note on line about original pumps having a defect. May have gotten one from that defective batch. Still fighting with Ford to be reimbursed for the repair/parts.
