My car shut off the gas supply while driving at full speed. I consider this extremely dangerous as I was a sitting duck to other cars until I could get off the road. Come to find out that this is a "bulletin" and the company is aware of the problem! Guess they don't want to do a recall until an acceptable number of accidents or deaths! And the topping on the cake is after having the car towed to our mechanic, he finds the bulletin information and tells us to take it to the dealer we bought it from for them to cover it. But, Maguire Ford in Ithaca won't do this manufacturer defect repair without charging us. And we have the cost of the towing. And we purchased an extended warranty when we bought the car. The warranty is a waste of money since they would not even cover a window gasket in the back window when it was still a very new car!
