Mariner Hybrid 3.0L V6

Bought the vehicle on 4-5-14 from Cox Motor Sales in New Richmond WI- noted there was a mouse nest and said I wanted it cleaned and inspected. They said nothing was damaged. It started immediately with complaints that the radio displayed garble when it was cold like it was shorting out. They told me I would need a new radio for $700 plus labor without looking at it. It progressed to Focus Errors and CD Errors displayed with the CD player no longer working. It progressed to lights in the dash flickering then the battery dying. The radio would go out and the inside lights would come on, then the lights would go out and the battery came on.

A friend stated there was a parasitic draw and to bring it to Ford so I did. We pulled the #5 fuse that was associated with the draw to stop the battery from dying. Ford could not find an issue and charged me for testing.

I called back two weeks later with the same issues. They replaced the smart junction box and said it was fixed. I got a few miles down the road and the focus errors were popping up and the cd player was making weird noises. Also parts were not properly replaced and not snapped in. I called for another appointment.

Again the battery died from the draw and we started to take the offending fuse out. I was told it was possessed, they could not find anything wrong with it after having it from the evening of 10-14-15 until I pick it up tonight 10-23-15. With no progress and another large bill.

This is ridiculous and I cannot even trade it in.
