Takata recall-recall#16V384000 - it's been 2 yrs now since this recall began, my car being on the recall list, and still there are no parts to have it repaired. This is my only vehicle. This needs to be taken care of more expeditously! there's no excuse for it taking this long for parts. Each manufacturer needs to expedite this process for parts for their customer, if they want future customers! I hope there is something more NHTSA can do to make this happen!

Takata recall. Safety recall notice 17S01/NHTSA recall 17V-024. Received two letters from Ford Motor Company: March 2017 & May 2018 mentioning air bag danger for front passenger side. Letter stated parts should become available during the second or third quarters of 2018. I have not been notified of part availability. Meanwhile auto is being driven. Ford is offering to pay for rental vehicle until parts are available to repair this vehicle. I have not taken advantage of this offer as yet. I have not received notification of parts availability. In fourth quarter of 2018. Have received notice of a class action settlement coming from a bankruptcy of takata. Such notice recommends repairing airbag as soon as possible. When I call the local dealership, they instruct me to wait for letter stating part availability for my vehicle. I am confused and fear parts will not become available as promised.

Takata recall: Since the airbag recall I have continued contact my local dealer regarding the availability of replacement airbags. It has been recently brought to my attention that takata continues to deliver airbags to all larger dealerships nationwide. The dealership in my area have placed the order twice for a replacement but the manufactures continue to decline the order. My last check with the dealership was October 8, 2018 and I was asked to please continue checking. At my last contact I was informed to please check again in November which is drawing closer to the end of the month. My due diligence is running out and I have no complaint with my dealership and understand that takata has much work left to complete. All lives matter when it comes to remaining safe on the road during travels. The wait period needs to come to an end as it has been far to long to have issues corrected. When I received the first recall notice I did not hesitate to contact to dealer. It seems that the recall issue needs to be handled in a more efficient and effective manner. Safety is always a concern.

Takata recall - dealers state that the recall parts still aren't available. Yet they seem to still make hundreds of thousands of airbags a year, they haven't gotten to their responsibilities.
