Second concern: "soft brakes" the peddle has too much play and is a concern for stopping distance. Called Ford and they stated my vehicle not included even though I am experiencing the problem with my brakes.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2008 Mercury Milan. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The contact received the recall notification in July of 2016. The dealer (riess Ford sales, Inc., 768 il-13, marissa, il, 602257) stated that the parts were unavailable for the repair. In addition, there was a three inch bulge surrounding the air bag area. The dealer took pictures; however, no additional information or correspondence occurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact also experienced an intermittent warning indicator illuminating. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Went in to newberg Ford dealership in newberg, Oregon about a month and a half ago, to ask about the takata airbags and if I can schedule a time to get replaced. The person at the counter informed me that they do not have the fix in and that whoever was responsible is going through the United States by sections and that Oregon was the last section. My daughter drives this car and want it fixed as it is potentially very unsafe. Not sure what I can do. The airbag seems to be bulging out of the dashboard at this time.

Once again they are putting me back another year. I also called corporate 1-800-392-3673. Now have received notice for tk holdings bankrupt proceedings.

I called nick mayer Lincoln Mercury in westlake, Ohio and they shared they were unable to replace my airbags because Lincoln and Ford had no parts supplied from takata to complete the replacement of the air bags
