The contact stated that the door was unlocked, but the door handle would not successfully release the door from the locked position. The contact was able to crawl over to another door to exit the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 34,624.

The contact owns a 2010 Mercury Milan. The contact stated that when the headlights were engaged, the driver's side brake light failed to illuminate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician replaced the driver's side brake light. However, the failure recurred. In addition, the contact stated that the driver's side door handle fractured. The contact mentioned that in order to exit the vehicle he had to use the exterior door handle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 72,000.
