The message center display is very, very dim. You can read it in a dark garage, but not in daylight. I have heard of others with this problem, but not a solution other that $1000 replacement of instrument cluster.
Come on, there must be some techie geek in this computer universe who can find a solution to this and I for one would be willing to pay for the solution. Mercury is out of business and Ford doesn't want to be bothered. If it's slightly visible, there must be some way to increase the brightness. Where's all the electrical geniuses?
