The contact owns a 2004 Mercury Monterey. While driving 20 mph, both the driver and passenger side curtain air bags deployed suddenly without warning or impact. The dealer diagnosed that the cause of the air bag deployment was undetermined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.
