Once the liftgate was completely opened for a few moments, it slammed shut. The contact stated that since the failure, the liftgate would no longer remain open. An authorized dealer was notified and the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the recall associated with NHTSA campaign id number 06V069000 (structure:body:hatchback/liftgate).
