The contact owns a 2005 Mercury Monterey. The contact stated that the passenger side axle failed at 1,500 miles. The failure recurred at 8,000 and 13,000 miles. The driver's side axle was also replaced. The dealer stated that they did not guarantee the failures would not recur after the fourth repair. The failure mileage was 13,029.
