Mountaineer SUV V8

  • 193,000 miles

Engine will be running about 65mph, and it begins to feel like the engine is misfiring. Had a mechanic look at the problem, and found nothing wrong. I still feel it misfiring. Could it be the injectors?

Engine was tuned up about 6 mo. ago, and had 2 injectors replaced. The problem started a few weeks later.

Any ideas would be welcomed.

Mountaineer 3.2L

When I hit the gas it hesitates at times. If I turn of the overdrive it is not nearly as bad.
