When the car was less than a year old the AC did not work on driver side of car. Last spring (car just recently out of warranty) AC didn't work at all so dealer said low on freon and cost about $150.00 to fix. Service report indicated no leaks whatsoever were found.
Now, two months later, we discover a major leak in AC system which we've been told will cost $500 to fix. How could a line go from no leaks to a leak "you can see daylight through" in only two months? It's now July and hotter than blazes so if I don't spend this kind of money then before long all the freon will be gone and I will have no A/C. For a car that's less than 4 years old and only 31,000 miles it seems like a lot of problems with the A/C so I'm wondering if system was defective to begin with!!!!
