Mountaineer V6

We live in cold weather country and cold air comes in the cab right though the glove box and underneath. I had the same problem with my 2001 Tahoe. What's the deal? We also have a Mercedes SUV and it's tight as a drum. Why can't the US manufactures build a decent warm cab?
