2006 Mercury Mountaineer. Radiator being replaced for the 2nd time in 8 months. According to the mechanic the radiator is completely corroded both times.

I have had to replace three radiators in my vehicle since purchasing the auto in Sept of 06. The first one was replaced at 26,048 miles (under warranty) the 2nd 33,202 miles (under warranty)and the last one occurred with 53000 miles (no longer covered). Each time they replaced the radiator with a brand new one. I have also contacted Ford / Mercury to look for assistance on this problem and why this is happening and they directed me back to the dealership. I do not believe this is normal wear and tear on my vehicle.
