Had all new brake pads at 56000 miles. At dealer service at 77000 dealer noted rear brakes at 10%.dealer new of problem, corroded parking brake cable. Part has been on back order since April servicing. Neither dealer or Ford will say when available.

Due to defective parking brake which became corroded, parking brake did not release. Also, premature wear of rear brake pads, caused extended stopping distance which could result in a crash. Brake cable was replaced after much delay.
