While driving noticed that despite going up a hill and foot not on the accelerator, car continued to accelerate. Despite calmly tapping my brake, pressing the cruise control "off" button, nothing seemed to stop the increase in speed. Coming to a red light had to keep both feet on the brake to prevent impacting the car in front. Another occasion seated in bumper to bumper traffic and not moving at the moment, the car suddenly lunged forward and had to once again stand on the brake pedal to keep from impact.

Will contact manufacturer and see if there has been an update on policy for repair.
