problem #1

Cooper N/A 1.6L

  • CVT transmission
  • 58,000 miles

To begin with We also had to rebuild the tranny immediately after purchase for 3700.00 The timing chain tensioners issue was reported to be only 2007 models and above but that did not stop it from happening to this 2006 at less than 60,000 miles. To be Honest I will never buy another Mini automobile again. This was our first and as fun as it was to drive and its also a great attention getter, Cost of ownership from the purchase price of it used 7900.00 and the repairs 6700.00 Total:14,600.00 are just too much.
