I saw (heard!) the difference between my radio's extremely poor reception after having one of Mini's loaner cars and noticing a SIGNIFICANT difference. Having previously owned a 2006 Mini, and it, too, had excellent reception. When I mentioned this to the person at Mini, he stated that it was a problem with the 2013 model. When I asked what could be done, he said he could only suggest buying another year's model. Have to say, much as I love the car (this is the second one I have bought), I DESPISE the service people's attitude.
