Cooper Clubman S 1.6L

I purchase 2009 mini clubman s with 54k on it, at about 62k the water pump house failed and had to pay $900 out of pocket because the extended warranty wouldn't. I switch to a different extended warranty that will cover more than just the internal engine parts. When I was about 65k I started to get engine light codes. I took it in and the dealer said it needed new spark plug, and that the oil line and head cover gasket needed to be replace. The oil line and the head gasket was covered under the extended warranty $2300 for repairs and I changed the spark plugs and the missed fired went away. At 68K an AC line developed a hole and needed to be replace and recharged $1200. Now at 73k the engine light came on and was running very rough. So I took it to the mechanic and number 3 cylinder has no compression most likely he said the engine will need to be replaced. Because of the value of the car the extended warranty might not cover the repairs. I have never experience such a premature engine failure. I am a fan on Mini but they are a money pit I don't know if I would want another Mini Cooper.

Now I'm waiting on the extended warranty to see if they will cover the engine failure and how much.
