We were driving around 70mph in the HOV lane of a highway with our dog in the back seat. Sudden explosive noise (I thought we were shot at) and then our back sunroof exploded all over the dog. Luckily my husband was driving and was able to get the car off the highway within a few miles. It will be covered by our glass coverage but when we Googled this incident it seems to go back to 2008. The sunroof glass should be shatterproof like the windshield and if they spontaneously explode they should be recalled!
