My car quit on expressway. I had it towed to the dealership on a friday afternoon and the dealership called Monday morning to ask me what was wrong with my car. I told them and they said they would have someone investigate at 149 dollars per hour.

A few hours later they call to say they think its the water pump or at least that is where they would start and its then I realized warranty had run out 2 months prior. Then a few hours later they called to tell me they found stop leak in the car and that I should not use that as it is bad for the car. I informed them I had never ever used that and that all my work and oil changes on this car had been done by their dealership so it must be them who did it. He quickly stated it wasn't them as they don't use that. I informed them it was them or the manufacturer as I had everything including oil changes done by them at that dealership. So now I need a water pump and I needed them to clear that stop leak out of the car and they expect me to pay the bill which is over $1,000.

So either the dealer or the manufacturer used stop leak on the water pump??? The water pump died 2 month after warranty on a car that is parked every winter.

I am not a HAPPY CAMPER!!
