Cooper S S Convertible

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

Mini is worried about the passenger side air bag ,they need to worry about the stitching rotting on the sides of both the passenger seat and drivers seat side air bags . So far the only problems I haven't had are with the fuel pump or injectors (sure it's coming ) and the stereo.

When I had my transmission and other parts replaced I thought it might be interesting to take my turd of a car to the Mini dealer to get an oil change and see if they could see any problems with h my car like they claimed previously ... Control arm bushings, transmission, oil pan.blah blah blah .... Guess what they didn't notice and made the same claim .

Do you know how much fun I had showing them pictures of the old and new transmission along with the other things replaced .

Avoid Mini Cooper at all costs.

Badly made car. The seat is ripped above the seam. I'm not sure it can be repaired.
