Cooper S 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,000 miles

With this light on the instrument panel, I had a hard time getting an inspection sticker because they think it's been wrecked when it never was. I sat my pocketbook down in the seat when it came on.

Cooper S

  • Manual transmission
  • 42,000 miles

2007 Mini S with less than 43,000 miles, airbag light appeared and would not go off. The dealership indicates the airbag is defective and needs to be replaced with an estimate of just under $1500.00. They reviewed and say this is not a a recall item for this car. I've been told that in the past on other major issues which have apparently been known to occur widely for this model and year.

Cooper S

  • Automatic transmission
  • 58,000 miles

2007 Mini airbag light went off at 58,000 miles and they say will be $2,000+ to fix it. Why is this not a recall? This is happening to too many of us at about the same mileage on our cars. This is a safety defect that BMW needs to stand behind --- very disappointed in you BMW! I know you are better than this.
