problem #2

Cooper S 1.6L

When I bought the car in 2014, the mirror doors on the sun visors were already broken. Super cheap material. Be gentle with them.

cover of sun visor on mirror breaks

According to MinuUSA the Sun Visor Mirror was a problem from the get-go and they even issued a TSB number M510113 to replace the Visor at no charge to customers, if they complained. However, i very seldom used the visor and the one time I either did use it or the passenger used the visor, it came apart. Since I live 3 hours away from the nearest dealer, I ususlly forgot to report the problem when I took it in for service. If the service department was on the ball, they would either check the visor*(s) or ask if I am having any visor problems.
