Consumer has 2000 Mitsubishi Diamante whose gas tank leaks consumer took vehicle to dealer, and dealer found gas leakage, but could not find any hole in the gas tank.

A boom noise has been coming from fuel pump. Vehicle has been in 7 times with no remedy found. Dealer said gas cap was expanding and collapsing. On 3-16-01 gas cap/ fuel pump and fuel gauge were replaced. On 3-16-01 valve and fuel tank assembly were replaced; on 3-23-01, dealer replaced fuel system cleaner kit, and fuel gauge assembly again, and 3-28-2001 gas cap and pressure relaease valve were replaced.
