problem #1

Eclipse GT 3L V6

  • Manual transmission

The cost to fix was cheap ONLY because of the fabulous exhaust garage in my area. Car threw that code and had this HORRIBLE misfire-like shudder that sometimes got so bad it shuts off for awhile. Replaced one of the supposedly three catalytic converters with a simple $80 high flow cat and put a spacer on the O2 sensor at my request because I was too poor to buy a sensor at that time. Not sure which caused the problem but, oh well, it was solved. Also recommend RESETTING THE BATTERY before ANYTHING else.
