A SIMPLE fix wouldn't pay a garage to do it but I wasn't experienced then. Attend to IMMEDIATELY or it will turn into a gas leak 9/10 times. Do not buy secondhand/junkyard replacement as rust was likely the problem here in the first place. 3rd Generation Eclipses are notorious for RUST. Thank the Chrysler designed body.
