Kind of ridiculous that the paint faded so quickly. Got this as my first car and now I already have problems. Looks as if someone torched the entire car with a flamethrower.

Eclipse GTS 3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

Paint faded on hood, fenders, roof, trunk, AND rear quarter panels. $500-600 was the amount I had planned to spend on paint, ended up Plasti dipped, flat black. Recommend this car if you would love to learn how the masking, sanding, priming, and painting process is done :) ....

No really, this car is nothing but a giant learning experience

The black paint has faded to the primer on the car. It needs to be re-painted. Was this a defect and is the dealership responsible?
