My 2008 eclipse had an open recall on an issue with the ABS system. It took them over a year to get the parts in to fix the issue. After much hassle on my part from the local dealer they claimed the fixed the issue. Now my ABS system is leaking brake fluid and mitsubshi won't fix the problem unless I take it to a dealer. There is no longer a local dealer where I live and my car has been deemed unsafe to drive. I would have to pay to tow the car over a 100 miles for them to tell me "if" the would fix the car. I was told that is not their concern on how a car gets to their service centers but they would not honor a recall to be fixed elsewhere. In other words this company does not care about the safety of the customers. I was also told that it is not their problem which I find laughable as this is a product they manufactured and has their name on it. This is the worst company ever and they have no concern for the safety of their customers.It is obvious the recall was not completed correctly the first time. I am screwed.
