The contact owns a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The contact stated that extensive mold developed due to a leak in the vehicle. Due to the placement of the air conditioning drain plug, water leaked onto the floorboard. The contact stated that the carpet in the vehicle was soaked. While driving and attempting to depress the brake pedal, the contact's foot slipped off of the brake pedal due to the bottom of her shoe being wet from the leak. The vehicle was taken to several independent mechanics who confirmed that the water leaked from the drain plug. The vehicle was not repaired. A dealer and the manufacturer were not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 112,000.

As I was driving on the highway and and as I sped up the vehicle kept fish tailing it felt like it was the front of the vehicle. So I went straight to my mechanic and he showed me the rust of the rear subframe of the car and it was detached and broken. He suggested I not drive the vehicle because I amy lose co trol of the vehicle.

The contact was included in NHTSA campaign number: 08V139000 (electrical system). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 160,000.

2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor. Had the vehicle for 3 days drove around town in a mild snow and rain. The next day noticed water had leaked into the interior cabin under driver side carpeting. Took two large towels to soak up water. Called dealer. Bringing it to service dept tommorow. I noted there are previous tsb's concerning the problem.
