I just had to pay for a repair for the fuel filler pipe. It was leaking as I would fill the car with gas. This model had a recall for this problem but my car VIN was not included.T he part they put down on the bill was "the recall kit". I feel that mine should have been covered also.

Windshield randomly fogs over. Heat switches randomly between heat and ac. Gas pedal sticks even when applying pressure to brakes car acts like the gas pedal is floored. Car lunges forward even when brakes are applied. Vehicle can be stationary and still lunges also has happened when it's in motion has happened in city and and rural areas.

The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The contact inquired about a recall and was informed that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The contact stated that the fuel indicator illuminated and fuel was leaking from the vehicle while parked. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The contact called a local dealer (valley imports, 402 40th St S fargo, nd 58103), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and informed the contact that the unknown recall had expired. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The contact stated that the vehicle was leaking fuel. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and it was diagnosed that the fuel filler pipe was corroded and caused the fuel to leak from the fuel filler pipe. The contact was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 10V065000 (fuel system, gasoline); however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 125,000.
