There is no accident but the paint on my black car is peeling off. I have big white splotches all over my car. It looks terrible. I have always taken care of my car, and the paint just started peeling off. I have heard and seen this on alot of Mitsubishi black cars. I think it defective paint. Help.

The driver side door panel gets caught on the B pillar almost every time the door is closed making it near impossible to open. Also a few weeks after this started happening the window started to stick in the down position only going up after beating on the inside of the door.

At about 50K miles both rear windows failed, went down on their own and won't go back up, I had to wedge them up to keep the in place. The paint on the rear bumper is oxidizing rapidly, this car has been parked in a garage for the entire time I have owned it. At about 90K miles I took my car in for a check engine light, it was a catalytic converter, I was told that the recall had expired and I would have to pay $1100 to replace the part. I sent an email to Mitsubishi that was unreturned.

The contact owns a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant. Approximately six months ago, the paint on the roof of the vehicle began to peel and became very rough. The failure has spread to the trunk, hood, and sides of the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that they could not repair the paint because she was not the original owner of the vehicle. She believes that the manufacturer should repair the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 50,000 and current mileage was 65,000.

Purchased a used 2004 mitusbishi Galant July 2007. Memorial day weekend 2007 passenger door jammed, unable to open or get out of door. Dealer replaced door panel out of "goodwill" November 07. Approx 2 months later, both front doors sticking and hard to open. Dealer replaced both door panels. Approx 1 month ago or less, driver door panel stuck again. Had to crawl across seats for approx one week to be able to drive. Dealer did not replace door panel even though last door panel still under warranty, merely reattached panel. First 2 cases, clips on door panels broke. 3rd case clips were not broken. Last weekend 5/24/08 passenger door panel stuck again. Cannot open passenger door. Have not returned to dealer yet, intend to go next couple days. First doing research. On last situation, service department saying mitusbishi claiming I am tearing up doors. If clips are broken, will not replace under warranty.
