in recent events, the power in my car has been going out consistently while driving. i could be on a residential road or the freeway it makes no difference. once my car is warmed up to almost warmed up the RPM's quickly go down in between 1-0.5 and the car will shut off losing all power. or if i put it in neutral or going too slow or even shifting from gear to gear slow. it began doing this just a week ago and has progressed extremely down hill. no one knows what is wrong with it or why in the hell it would be doing so. i change the car's fluids all on time at the appropriate mileage, never drive it rough or put any abuse on it and have always waited for it to warm up before driving, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! does anyone else have this problem or know anything about Lancers that could help me out? 2002 mitsubishi lancer oz rally

car just compeltely shuts off, no lights no anything, almost like the car doesn't even realize that it is still in drive and that the key is in the ignition. First it starts getting shaky and the RMPS go below .5 and then first the engine shuts off and then all the lights in the car turn off as well.
