Lancer ES 2.0L I4

The check engine light always comes on when the car jerks (which was the other complaint I submitted). It stays on for a few days then it shuts off. I took it in to the dealership and they said it was the oxygen sensors, but they didn't say if that is the reason why the car is jerking.
