this transmission was rebuilt at 113000 miles under a lifetime warranty. When the shop was experiencing stay-in-business troubles in Apr 2008 I called Lee Myles and was told I could take thwe car to another Lee Myles shop for warranty exercise.
That was a lie. When the overdrive went out in May 2009 I drove it 25 miles to the next nearest shop (there are very few Lee Myles left in Phoenix). They refused to do the work under warranty. I registered a complain with the BBB against Lee Myles Corp office. I've yet to receive resolution (the head office stalls by claiming 'vacation' as a reason for not helping). I can't drive on the freeway. What would have happened to someone if their transmission failed altogether? They'd not be able to wait.

My advice is to stay away from Lee Myles.
