Mirage ES 1.3L

  • CVT transmission
  • 12,000 miles

I first noticed the car pulling right with under 10K miles on it. Took it to the dealer-they did an alignment but it was only 5 degrees off. That made it better for a short time. It started doing it again. I took it back and had the service manager drive it. Said it was the steering that was slightly off. Alignment checked then and it was good. Started doing it again, this time much worse. I was out of the one year free adjustment period. the dealer said I'd have to pay for another alignment-$70.

I called Mitsubishi and they said take it in to be checked. Again, the service manager drove it and agreed, the car pulls right and to go straight, the steering wheel is 8-10 degrees off center. They adjusted it. The steering wheel is still a little left when I go straight but it's better. I don't abuse the car. I drive it pretty much all highway. I haven't hit anything to make the car do this. Mitsubishi hasn't charged me anything to fix it. I am concerned though, because it seems to keep happening.
