Tires worn at 5,000 miles, took to dealer, all four tires replaced and alignment checked (supposedly in alignment). 5,000 miles later worn again, took to dealer, in alignment, they put two new tires on front and changed rear axle. GUESS WHAT 5,000 miles later, tires worn, took to dealer, checked alignment and within specs. We were told there was nothing else they could do at the dealership. Called Mitsubishi and they said it was a tire problem and they were not going to help us. Needless to say, a few words were exchanged between my husband and the rep. Now we are stuck with a car that only has 21,000 miles on, does have great gas mileage (over 40mpg) but in need of new tires again. Who can afford that? Now what?
